YouTube channels are fundamental to how YouTube works — all content is uploaded to one channel or another. Perhaps you've found a channel that you particularly like and want to share it, or you want to share your own channel with others.
Either way, here are two ways to share a YouTube channel.
How to share a YouTube channel from your computer
If you are sharing a channel that you have found, you can navigate to it and copy the URL from your browser's address bar (at the top of the window, below your tabs) and paste it into an email, Facebook message, or any other preferred medium.
If you are sharing your own YouTube channel and you know the URL, the above still applies. If not:
1. Log into your account, then click your picture in the top-right corner of the screen.
2. Click Your channel from the drop-down menu.
3. Now copy the URL from your browser's URL field (at the top of the window, below your tabs) and paste it into an email, Facebook message, or whatever other medium you prefer.
Send that off, and now your YouTube channel has been shared.
How to share a YouTube channel from the mobile app
If you are sharing a channel that you have found, navigate to it, tap the three vertical dots in the top-right, click Share, and select the method by which you want to share it.
If you are sharing your own channel, the process is largely the same:
1. Launch the YouTube app, and then tap your image in the top-right.
2. Tap Your channel from the menu that opens.
3. Now tap the three vertical dots in the top-right.
4. Finally, tap Share, and then choose the method by which you want to share the channel.
