Former University of Georgia football icon Herschel Walker will run for US Senate in Georgia, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Walker was heavily encouraged to run by former President Donald Trump and has never held office before. Walker will run against US Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock in 2022.
