1. Microsoft will buy AI firm Nuance for $19.7 billion. In its second-largest purchase ever, Microsoft agreed to buy Nuance as a way to bolster healthcare tech. Here's how the acquisition will accomplish that.
2. Facebook's top execs took home hefty bonuses at the end of 2020. COO Sheryl Sandberg and CFO David Wehner's nearly $1 million bonuses were awarded partially around the company's "election integrity efforts." What we know about their 110% bonuses.

6. Bitcoin rose above $61,200 on Monday as the crypto market's focus turned to Coinbase's IPO. All eyes are on Coinbase this week as it prepares for its direct listing on the Nasdaq, which one analyst described as "definitely a supportive move" for bitcoin.
7. Cybersecurity startup Darktrace is planning an IPO with a target $4 billion valuation. Its listing will be another test of investor appetite for tech listings in the UK, after Deliveroo flopped on its debut in March.
8. Elon Musk's Neuralink could transition from implanting chips in monkeys to human trials within the year. A recent video showed a monkey playing video games with its mind. Musk has said he plans to test on people by the end of the year. But he's not the first to get a monkey to control a computer with its mind - a brief history of that here.
9. A VC laid out the two strategies he believes made $95 billion Stripe so successful. We spoke with OpenView partner Sanjiv Kalevar - who isn't an investor in Stripe, but who told us how he thinks the company made it big. These are the two reasons.
